Inspiration for today. William Eggleston was way ahead of his time. It's funny that he was not taken seriously as an artist because he used color at a time when all "serious" artistic photographers were taking black and white photographs. Eggleston made color acceptable as an artform, although a lot of people are turned off by his subject matter and the way he frames his photos. It has taken a couple decades for people to catch up.
